Product Overview

Altitude compensating pressure regulators are designed to increase system regulator outlet pressure at higher altitudes and conversely reduce pressure as altitude decreases. This action effectively reduces oxygen at lower altitudes while maintaining required minimums, thus conserving oxygen. Specified flow requirements are achieved typically through the use of a .016 nominal diameter orifice, positioned either in the constant flow mask outlet or the mask connector assembly.

Inlet Operating Pressure: 70 PSIG +/- 10 PSIG (Corrected for Altitude)
Inlet Proof Pressure: 120 PSIG
Inlet Burst Pressure: 160 PSIG
Operating Temperature: 5° F to 158℉ (-15℃ to 70℃)
Operating Altitude Range: Sea Level to 40,000 feet
Minimum Flow Rate (Altitudes / flows shown are for reference only without orifice):

8 LPM-NTPD - 10,000 ft @ 5 PSIG min outlet pressure
106 LPM-NTPD - 35,000 ft @ 42 PSIG min outlet pressure
